Great service and price, Max follows up with paperwork and emails. So pleasant to find a proactive supplier
I have just had a Solar system installed by Coutts and the experience from start to finish has been first class. The support in designing a system to meet my requirements was excellent, the team that carried out the installation where first rate and the commissioning and explanation as to how I work with the new system was great. I would thoroughly recommend Max and his his team to provide a great service from start to finish, big thanks.
I had a bank holiday DIY emergency and needed someone to come out and make it safe and get our power back on. Coutts answered and Max was round within a couple of hours. Really easy communication, no hassle and easy to deal with, will definitely be using them for future jobs.
Very happy with electrical work undertaken by Max of Coutts Electrical, and his team. They installed an electric radiator and new light in the kitchen. They offered advice and were professional and tidy. Would highly recommend.
Max responded very quickly to my request to review an electrical fault and efficiently dealt with the issue. I’m delighted that I’ve found Max and will definitely be calling upon him for any future electrical work.
Max and his team installed my original solar panels a few years ago and have been back more recently to install the electrics for a heat pump and increase the number of panels. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat for any job you might have
Max and his team did a great job fitting anti-bird blockers around my solar panels, and removing the pigeon dirt and grime from the roof and gutters - not the pleasantest of jobs! Very efficient and prompt.
Max was very friendly, responsive and helpful in advising us when we needed some solar panels installed by the previous owner temporarily removed to allow for a new roof and an internal light switch fixed. Max and his team were excellent in removing the panels, cleaning them and reinstalling them with some new brackets as we changed the type of roof tile. Rearranging the time to reinstall them due to delays to the roofing caused by bad weather was not a problem. Would definitely use them again. Thanks
Very efficient service from Max and Alex. They made completing an Electrical Condition Report and then repairs where required in or office seamless and not intrusive at all. Really great for peace of mind. Thank you
A fast, efficient, effective, reliable and highly professional company, most recommended.
Having Max, Alex and Paul install our new solar panels has been a joy. Really pleased with the system recommended and the workmanship has been first class dealing with an unusual slate roof.
I wanted a rather specialised solar system for which I'd tried to get other companies to quote for in the past. Max and his team came to do a site survey and after a few emails back and forth to iron out the details, they delivered me exactly what I wanted. Everything happened exactly when they said it would and the system was commissioned on-time and on-budget. The site was left spotless. I have nothing but praise for Coutts Electrical Contractors.
Max is a legend! Super professional and conscientious from start to finish. Answered all my questions in full. Customised the install to meet my needs. Wasn't at all salesy or pushy like many other solar installers.
We had a Tesla wall charger installed at our home by Coutts Electrical. Max and Alex were professional and efficient from initial contact through to the final installation. An absolute pleasure to deal with and would happily recommend them.
Quite simply the best customer service I've experienced ever.Max and his team fitted our solar panels just over a year ago, and they were great throughout the process. But what really stood them apart was when we recently had an issue with a small leak around one of the panels. I emailed Max on a Sunday night, and by 0830 Monday morning scaffolding was up, the panels removed, the issue isolated and fixed, and the internal damage repaired. How a company responds when an issue arises tells you a lot, and they were absolutely first rate. Thank you Max and team 🙏🙌☀️
Solar InstallationWe used Coutts to install our solar panels and equipment and they did a great job. They were clear on timescales, cost and delivery and installed as agreed. 03 What they cover
A useful signal in itself: the same company is being reviewed for a bank-holiday emergency and for a designed off-grid system.
Design, install and commissioning, several from customers on a second or third job.
Solar PVIncluding retrofits to arrays that were already there — the honest answer to “can you add storage later”.
Battery storageEICRs, radiators, lighting and emergency callouts — the trade the renewables work sits on.
Electrical services“Max” appears throughout as the engineer on site. That is who turns up, in the customers' own words.
About Coutts Electrical04 A note on the score
Plenty of sites print a bold “4.9 out of 5”. Coutts Electrical do not publish an average anywhere, so inventing one for this page — even a flattering one derived from the reviews below — would be making up a figure. The word excellent and the count of 81 are what their profile actually shows, so that is what appears here.
For the same reason, the one review below five stars is shown at the rating it was given, in the same list as everything else.
