A solar array generates most of its power in the middle of the day. Most households use most of their power at six o'clock, when the kettle, the oven and the lights all come on at once. Battery storage is what closes that gap.

Every guide-priced system we install includes 10kWh of battery capacity as standard, so the electricity your roof generates at noon is still yours at dusk instead of being exported for a fraction of its value.
Batteries are installed and commissioned by our own qualified electricians alongside the array, with monitoring set up so you can see exactly what is being stored and used.
01 Battery Storage
Without storage, power your panels generate while the house is empty is exported to the grid. With storage, it is held until you need it. The practical effect is a much higher share of your own generation actually used in your own home.
How much difference it makes depends on your usage profile and the size of the array — which is exactly why every system we quote is designed around your own consumption rather than sold from a price list.
02 Battery Storage
If you already have solar panels, a battery can usually be added without replacing the array. We survey the existing installation, check the inverter arrangement and confirm what can be integrated safely before quoting anything.
Customers have come back to us to add storage to arrays installed years earlier, and to extend systems when their usage changed.
03 Storage
An array on its own hands most of its output back to the grid at exactly the hours you are least likely to be home.

Retrofit is routine. If you already have panels and no storage, we size a battery to the array you have, connect it correctly into your existing electrical installation, handle the DNO side, and set the monitoring app up on your phone before we leave.
Excess energy can still be exported back to the grid. What storage changes is the share of your own generation you actually get to spend.

Installation of 10 solar panels, a MyEnergi battery and car charger. Max and the team were well organised, excellent communicators and methodical with their work.. the work was completed on time and everything was tidy when they left. Max and his team did a great job fitting anti-bird blockers around my solar panels, and removing the pigeon dirt and grime from the roof and gutters - not the pleasantest of jobs! Very efficient and prompt.
